Languedoc Mini-Break Cycling Tour Itinerary

back to Tour Page

VéloRoo’s Languedoc Mini-Break Cycling in France Tour is about experiencing a snapshot of the Hérault region’s diversity, capturing the traditional essence of this unspoiled region and most of all making friendships with fellow cyclists along the way.

At VéloRoo we understand not everyone wants to spend all day in the saddle or get back on the bike after a relaxing lunch. VéloRoo tours are accompanied and fully supported with the VéloRoo bus.

On the Languedoc Mini-Break Cycling in France Tour the emphasis is to –

  • enjoy riding
  • enjoy lunch
  • enjoy a different afternoon activity each day

VéloRoo offers you a perfectly condensed balance between cycling, holidaying and sightseeing, allowing you to Live, Laugh, Ride ….

This is an example of our tour. At times we may need to change routes or other details due to weather, road works or events.

Our route takes in many villages where wine has been the life blood dating back to Roman times. The roads we travel on are predominantly free of traffic providing a sense of remoteness whilst sometimes only being a few kilometres from the main road. At approx 10:00am (37km) we will stop for a coffee in one of the major wine producing villages.

12:30pm Enjoy a picnic style lunch with some wine tasting.

7:30pm Enjoy a beautiful lunch dinner with fresh local produce in one of our neighbouring villages. We take pleasure in showcasing local restaurants that take pride in the quality and presentation of their food. It’s also a good sign when it’s a regular spot for locals!
